MARC LEVINE, Esq. (JD, MBA) is a member of the commercial arbitration panel for the American Arbitration Association and specializes in arbitrating disputes in the Insurance and Personal Injury arena.  Levine has an extensive insurance background and served as General Counsel for one of the major insurance carriers for over 10 years.  As a result, he has been engaged in resolving disputes involving commercial and personal watercraft, recreational vehicles, personal automobile, heavy equipment and property and casualty insurance matters along with bad faith and policy coverage issues.

In the arena of Personal Injury, his background includes resolution of cases involving bodily injuries to the neck and back including spinal, cervical, lubar, thoracic, soft tissue and severe injuries to the spine resulting in paraplegic and quadriplegic outcomes.  Other bodily injury matters include brain injury, amputations and other serious bodily injury matters.

Levine has also worked in the technical arena with issues that include theft of personal property, replacement value, appraisal, uninsured losses, subrogation, policy cancellation,  rescission, non renewal, premiums and coverange and contract disputes.  He has also worked on (HIPAA) violation cases (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ).

DISCLOSURE: In compliance with C.C.P. §1281.9 and Ethical Standards for Neutral Arbitrators in Contractual Arbitration §10 adopted by the Judicial Council of California, written disclosure is made that Marc Levine is an Administrative Law Judge with the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) in which he currently hears matters involving unemployment insurance, disability eligibility and employer tax cases. Under Government Code §10(c), Levine "may act as an arbitrator or mediator (or practice law) which will not not directly or indirectly be related to the functions and responsibilities of the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board". Under C.C.P. §1281.91, additional disclosures shall be made in writing upon the initial appointment.
